Your safety is our number one priority. All our boats are equipped with required safety equipment and comply with Portuguese maritime regulations. Please read and follow these safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Captain's Authority

  • Follow All Instructions: All guests must follow instructions from the captain and crew at all times.
  • Final Decision: The captain's decisions regarding safety, conduct, and navigation are final and must be respected.
  • Emergency Procedures: In case of emergency, remain calm and follow the captain's instructions immediately.

Guest Conduct & Safety Rules

  • Stay Seated: Remain seated while the boat is in motion unless instructed otherwise by the crew.
  • Hold Handrails: Use handrails when moving around the boat.
  • No Diving: Do not dive or jump from the boat unless explicitly permitted by the captain.
  • Supervise Children: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Responsible Drinking: Consume alcohol responsibly. Intoxicated guests may be denied boarding or removed from the boat.
  • No Smoking: Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
  • Respect Others: Be respectful and courteous to other passengers and crew.

Weather & Sea Conditions

We continuously monitor weather and sea conditions to ensure your safety:

  • Tours may be rescheduled or canceled due to adverse weather conditions
  • The captain has final authority on weather-related decisions
  • If you're prone to seasickness, please take medication before boarding
  • Our boats have glass-enclosed areas for protection from rain and wind

Boarding Refusal Policy

For the safety of all passengers, we reserve the right to refuse boarding or remove guests who:

  • Appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
  • Display disruptive or aggressive behavior
  • Pose a safety risk to themselves or others
  • Refuse to follow safety instructions

No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.

Health Considerations

  • Medical Conditions: Please inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your participation.
  • Pregnancy: Pregnant women should consult their doctor before booking.
  • Mobility Issues: Let us know in advance if you have mobility concerns.
  • Allergies: Inform us of any food or beverage allergies.

Before You Board

✓ Do:

  • Arrive 15 minutes early
  • Wear comfortable, non-slip shoes
  • Bring sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Bring a light jacket (weather changes)
  • Stay hydrated

✗ Don't:

  • Arrive intoxicated
  • Bring glass containers
  • Wear high heels
  • Bring excessive luggage
  • Ignore safety briefings
